WE CANNOT PERFORM ANY PMU SERVICES IF YOU:
Are Pregnant or Nursing.
Are currently undergoing chemotherapy and/or full radiation treatments. (Note however that prophylactic chemotherapy is generally safe for proceeding.)
Have skin inflamation due to active dermatologic disorders like rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis.
Have skin inflamation due to active sunburn.
Have had previous permanent makeup by other artists that we may deem a major corrective procedure. Before we will agree to schedule or perform corrective PMU services or edit the work of other artists, quality photos must be submitted and an in-person consultation may also be required.
ANY PMU SERVICE MUST BE DELAYED IF YOU:
Have recently received Botox or Dysport injections. Required waiting period: 1 day. (Patients should not lie flat for at least 5 hours after receiving Botox or Dysport.)
Have used Retin A, Glycolic Acid, or Vitamin C Serums. Chemical peels, lasers, IPL, or any type of medical grade skin treatment. Required waiting period: 3 weeks. Please note that you also must discontinue use of these products until all PMU is completely healed.
Have been tanning. Required waiting period: 1 month.
Have taken full doses of Accutane. Required waiting period: 1 year. (Note: with medical clearance and a doctor's note you may be able to receive PMU if you are taking a half dose or prophylactic dose of Accutane)
ADDITIONAL WAITING PERIODS ARE REQUIRED IF YOU:
Have EVER had a Fever Blister (aka Cold Sore) YOU MUST speak to your doctor, bring a doctor's note to your appointment and pre-medicate before your appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Have received filler (i.e. Juvaderm, Silk, Voluma, Sculptra, Restylane, Perlane, etc). Required waiting period: 4-5 weeks.
Have received lip augmention through fat transfer, implants, or tissue grafting. Required waiting period: 1 month.
ADDITIONAL WAITING PERIODS ARE REQUIRED IF YOU:
Have received Lasik or Cataract Surgery. Required waiting period: 1 month prior and 3 months post-op.
Have used Latisse or any other eyelash boosting products. Required waiting period: 4 weeks.
Have received Lash Extensions. They must be removed prior to the your appointment and you must wait until all PMU is completely healed before resuming use.
Wear contacts. They must be removed prior to receiving your permanent eyeliner service, and you must wait 24 hours before resuming use. Prepare to wear glasses leaving your appointment.
ADDITIONAL WAITING PERIODS ARE REQUIRED IF YOU:
Are less than 6 months post operation. Must be cleared by your surgeon after reconstruction (Areola Tattoo).
Scar must be 18 months old & lighter than the surrounding skin in order to be camouflaged. (Scar Camouflage).
